These flies are indeed custom. Tied to order by Aaron, they are castable, durable, and best of all catch fish. In general they are tied with natural materials with synthetics added for highlight. For the most part they are variations on existing patterns, however, particular attention is given to proportion, and coloration. These flies do not tangle and track extremely well under all current conditions. They are tied on Owner, Gamakatsu, and Eagle Claw hooks. They are not cheap, but fish with them for a day and you will be sold. I tie them all so order in advance of their necessity. Also, it’s best to order off season (NOV-MAR) as we are very busy fishing the rest of the time.
